I really question the intellingence of players today compared to a decade or more ago.
You fight to get back in the game, and then boom, you allow the team you just got within striking distance of to start launching 3pointers, which is their strength by the way, and open the lead right back up.
It just makes NO SENSE and you could always see players like Jordan & Magic coaching their teammates is similar situations on what to allow & not to allow.
Same thing goes with the shot clock now when teams have a nice lead.
Instead of getting getting an offensive rebound and kicking it back out to the top of the key to run off another 24 seconds, teams will fire it right back up these days.
Game is nothing like it used to be....
