</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>Benson appears to be back to full health and will likely be listed as "probable" on Friday's injury report. Larry Johnson's rejuvenation will be short-lived, as Benson is line for a heavy workload against the Lions this week. We have him ranked as the No. 9 fantasy option among RBs.

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>Benson is fully expected to start as the focal point of the Bengals offense this week. Though Larry Johnson will see action as the backup, Benson still merits low-end RB1 status in his return to the lineup.

The shakeup makes sense because the Bengals need to keep Benson healthy for the stretch run and postseason, but isn't a formula for fantasy success as the Bengals take on the Vikings' No. 3 rush defense. While it's still possible that Benson will get 17-20 touches, he immediately becomes a less desirable fantasy play. Explore options with more upside if you have them.

Cedric Benson should be licking his chops. In the three games since returning from his hip injury, Benson is averaging just 3.86 yards per carry. He's likely to bounce back in a big way this week.

Carson Palmer also said he was fine with the ground game being featured on offense. The Bengals finished 2009 ranked ninth overall in rushing. Only the Jets, Panthers, and Dolphins had more rush attempts.
