Good call on the Browns, I'm on them for pizza money but not for an official play, just to make it interesting. I see what you are saying and I agree with it. Both teams are still really bad regardless of McCown's 400+ yard performance. I've never thought he was that consistent of a QB and even though they put in Johnny Football, they would never pull a QB who was consistently good regardless. No telling how well he will perform tonight, although my best guess is the same as yours. I expect him to play better than Shaub. How much better is the question here. To me McCown is still back-up quality and I don't make money betting teams with back-ups from my results in the past.
On that PITT game - easy to be deceived. My friend tailed me on it and thought we should have taken the other side but I had to remind him it was 3-0 turnovers Pitt to Seattle plus a random missed tackle that caused SEA to run huge for a tackle. A turnover is worth 7 points in the NFL so that's 21 points not including the extra tackle for a TD that could have been avoided. Yes, teams cause turnovers but for the most part they are random and will even out. Especially with a consistent QB like Big Ben throwing picks. I am with you, I would bet the steelers and probably cash 70 times out of 100. On to tonight, I think your Browns bet cashes. BOL buddy!
