The odds are out and the Cavs are favored over Chicago or Indiana.
Don't really have an opinion on this or anything but pretty much throws a wrench into your "no way" theory
Sorry ... Yes I meant Andrew Wiggins as I'm a Tour De france guy and just finish ed posting on the Tour. LOL. Wiggins looks to be one of those special " Can't Miss " type players. You are simply going to overlook him as a factor..... big mistake. Cavs picking Anthony Bennett last year was a joke and everyone pretty much was shocked by that pick. He wasn't very good playing for UNLV and I live here in Vegas ! Have you seen him play ? Wiggins is an awesome talent and barring injury He will be a factor in NBA for many years. Just because He's never played a minute in the NBA isn't a reason to overlook him. Hasn't every rookie in the history of the game started their NBA career without having played one minute in the NBA ??
And I said "no way" they should be. Just my opinion. Feel free to feel different. They aren't as good of a team as Indiana or Chicago right now.
Oh ok, well you didn't say "should be" you said "no way they are" so that might have been why people said they would be favored in response to you.
As for my own opinion I dunno, they got pretty much all kids right now and it is tough to win in the NBA with a team that young. Indy seems like they are gonna lose Lance so not sure which way they go because I do think he is really underrated despite all the antics.
Bulls its tough to say. Pau has kinda looked like shit defensively last 2 years, looked good offensively last year but that was playing on a team giving up 110ppg so they were basically glorified pickup games, 34 w/ a lot of mileage on him. Rose hasn't played forever and I got no clue how the rest of his career is gonna go but hopefully he pulls through...
I don't think Cleveland is even as good as Toronto right now.
I dunno about that. I mean LeBron carried some bad Cleveland teams when he used to play there and Kyrie is better than any teammate he had from '03-10. Blatt gotta be a better coach than Mike Brown too. Varejao staying healthy will be big because he is the only rebounder/interior defender they have and he pretty much never stays healthy.
Regardless of what you or I think my guess is the market opens around like 55ish O/U win total so you should have a good overlay there based on your opinion.
Wizards got my man THE TRUTH so I'll probably pull for them. If Wall/Beal continue to improve that is a team to lookout for.
I love Washington. Kyrie and LBJ are both studs Pats and we know that. Outside of them, the team is below average. I just don't see LBJ's arrival automatically making them a title contender.
Dude, did you watch him play at UNLV? He wasn't good? He averaged 16 and 8 as a freshman. Wiggins didn't look any better in college than Bennett.
