It will depend where he goes. If chip Kelly gets him....he will be successful....not sure what he will be elsewhereDrafting Oregon quarterbacks. Vlad finds it humorous. If he is not Haloti Ngata, stay away. Is Matt Millen still paying Joey Harrington? Notice how their running backs always are stars in college but yet rarely see an NFL field. That is when you know it is a system.

yeah I guess Johnathan Stewart and Blount have failed miserably........ You over Luck's last performance yet ?
Nah....not the same thing. If you've watched the Eagles you can see the system is a success....spurrier stuff never translated to the nfl like this does. Mariotta has some learning but he has all the intangibles that you need. His limitations right now are something that can be worked with and improved. This feels like Spurrier version 2. "Just give me Danny Wuerfurl and you can have everyone else" and he was a pocket passer. Mariotta is a 1 read guy and then runs.
Blount really never counted as he was suspended because he has no composure and Jonathon Stewart sucks. They are running backs. I will take a 7th round one from Hofstra and get the same out of them when I have Luck. Yeah I am over Luck going 33-15 his first 3 seasons and be 25 and lose to the Super Bowl Champions and be the only real qb in the NFL under 31. The future for the Colts looks bad.
nobody counts and everyone sucks if they're not players or teams you root for... we all get it...Luck just didn't lose to NE, he was awful..
Good job. It took you this long to figure it out? Luck will go down as 1 of the best ever....if he stops tackling these jacked up fucks on roids when he throws an inteterception. Geeze, do what Manning did, Show you care for 3 seconds and then just fall down. You can have the td, I cant have my franchise qb out for 4 weeks because he tried to tackle the fat guy that goes by Suh.
More and more teams are going to a hybrid type of offensive scheme that uses both the spread and pro style offenses. Five years ago I wouldn't have given Mariota much of a chance to make it. But the game is changing much more to suit these types of QB's. The key is to keep them healthy. Which means they will never have as many QB runs than they ran in college. The main thing is to strike a balance between the two schemes..Excellent breakdown of plays that Mariota & Oregon have used that are very similar to what many NFL teams run today.
