Well I hate to bear the bad news...tonight is the 1st of 20 FSN Midwest Cards' games to be blacked out for Insight and Mediacom customers...the 2nd game will be this weekend in Detroit on Saturday night I believe...

Because FSN picked up more games this season...they wanted to charge the provider's for 'em...

However, DirecTV customers can watch on channel 647.

Speezer needs to come thru here...

That is total bullshit. I had DirecTV, and the first two weeks were blacked out. I switched to cable, and two days after I switched, they settled the DirecTV thing. Now you're saying I'm gonna have 20 games blacked out on cable? WTF is going on? Gonna be a lot of pissed off people, and I'm one of them.

Yep...

Insight and Mediacom refused to pay FSN the increased premiums for the additional games...

I do not know the exact schedule of blackouts...

But this Saturday night @ DET will for sure be number two...leaving 18 more dates.

F'N Stinks...

Everyone wants to cash in on the Cards...and the fans get screwed.

i spent an hour on the phone with mediacom. got hung up on 3 times. the poor 4th person really took it well but didn't get me anywhere but watching this shit on yahoo and the game thread. stupid tv agreements and the asshole cable companies suck.
