PETE- think hockey is a whole different situation............like the handshakes in hockey.

Just my opinion that it is not suited for Major League Baseball.

Thats all..........real no biggie either way.

NHL teams do it after every playoff series so it's nothing new. It's a great gesture considering that hockey is such a physical sport and the intensity level at playoff time is ramped up a few notches.

It was two classy teams getting together and showing respect. Nobody said everyone has to do this now. The Cardinals are a class act and one of the greatest franchises all time. Dodgers are one of the great baseball teams as well. 2 class acts doing a respectable thing that was great for baseball. Players have way too much power, strongest union in the world, and have players that get away with too much.
