health issue with jones sending him to ER last night, curious if he were to be unable to play who would be #2.. Miller has shoulder issues so it would be one of these freshman moving in to the number 2 spot i think: Joe Burrow, Steve Collier, or Torrence Gibson. Cant imagine it would be Morgan even though he is a junior.

Spoke with someone last night very close to the program and he told me unless Jones does something stupid in the next 2/3 days he will be named the starter Sunday night as they began game week prep. Bosa had some weed on him when he, friends and some girls were questioned at a party police where called because of noise. The last thing he told me is the Ezekiel Elliot and his family have decided this will be his last year barring any major injury, he is playing with his decision made.

Seems like a lot of things other then football going on. Besides suspensions for VT they lose the #2 WR with broken leg, so will be lining up with #3 and #4 WR.. maybe osu implodes in week one. Will be interesting to see how they do. My expectation level is a little low after everything i heard last night.

I am a firm believer nothing is ever etched in stone but my source is as close to the program u can b w/o being a coach or a player. He is on the field tonight I can tell you, I was more curious if Jones would screw up but the kid has his head on straight.

1. Is the person you spoke to Urban Meyer? If not, your person "very close to the program" doesn't know. All signs, sources and insiders I infact know are saying otherwise. Regardless of who starts, this team will be ready to roll in week one.

2. Bosa was "questioned" last week by police but no ticket or arrest....end of story.

3. It's obvious EZE is leaving after this year (along with many others), he'lll be the #1/#2 back in the draft.

thanks fellas but I was just sharing what i was told by someone no one would second guess, if I hear anything else that could affect an OSU game I will post it up but I think for the most part things will be quiet unless kids get in trouble....

Most of those 5 yd runs by Jones would have been 15 yds or more by Barret. Jones may have a slight edge as a passer, but IMO Barret's greater speed & leadership should make him the starter. We will see.

AS I said, gotta trust Urban. I would ask you source if they thought Urban made the decision because he felt JT would handle not getting the job more maturely than Cardale would have. Meaning, 12Guage would have pouted had he not gotten the job. Also gotta figure you have JT for 2 more years maybe.

Ohio State beat an unranked team on the Road..............Thought that was supposed to happen, especially since they are currently ranked #1 while defending their title.........................Braxton was impressive though in his new various roles....That did stand out.
