Gonzalez of Washington is pitching like dogshit. He's probably killed the parlay. Barring a miracle comeback by the Nationals, it's DOA. ##)

Grateful we tied it. Yet, another 2 out bases loaded strikeout. I didn't expect Donaldson to strike out like that. Extra innings, here we come.
That was a golden opportunity we just squandered, but let's get it done in the 10th! :toast:

..... That was for the Money....

Still alive though

Not now after that 3 run HR by NYY Greg Bird. :neenee:

Donaldson's AB was the difference. When he whiffed, I had a bad feeling.

While we still have the B9th, I feel Toronto's cooked.

For the life of me, I really thought you were going to go 3-0 with your plays. Complete opposite is going to happen.

See you manana, and thanks for your efforts today. It just wasn't in the cards.

BTW, I plan on paying attention to extreme reverse line movements for any game from now on.

Just a brutal tease after tying up the game to have Donaldson strike out there. Once he got down 0-2 to Miller, it was a killer and then of course the Yankees get the 1st two on with a bunt, catchers interference and a 3 run homer. I just can't catch a break lately.

Yeah, not in the cards today. I had the Jays ML & RL, and Houston Rl yesterday. Sunday and prior I have been cold and it only seems to be continuing.... Going to take a few days off form posting. As we get closer to October the tougher it is to cap these games.

I have never been one to follow line movements... Have you had any success in the past?

Going to see about jumping in on San Diego

No kidding. The chances were there.

I believe the game opened with Toronto -140 or thereabouts.

According to Sports Insights data, about 65% or a little more of the betting public was on the Jays, yet the line plummeted to -110 at many shops (including I use) in the matter of several hours before the start. That's what's known as "reverse line movement." This usually is the "sharps" and "wize guys" pounding the NY Yankees.

We see how it turned out. ^<<^
I've used this strategy before with success, but inexplicably ignored it in this instance. I suppose I was just loyal to you since you know the Jays so well. (<)<

Yes, Familiar with the way it works but I just don't buy into it. It wasn't long ago (last week?) that the game line opened at -210 I believe and got down to about -150 hour or so before game. Jays won this game... Smart money or the sharps were wrong. Who's to say if the general public or the sharps were on the Yanks today?? I just cap the game and figure this is enough.
Well, Thanks for the respect Incubus. Sorry about the last few days.... hope to get back on track.

No worries about the last few days. Everyone knows you're a solid MLB handicapper. You'll get back on track, and I plan on being on the ship when you do! :toast:
