I think most people here have it figured out and go along with it. Because the bar of confirmation is too tall, there will never be a wager that will satisfy both sides. The easiest and logical way to confirm the winnings would be showing his tax returns for the year he won.

Actually you did back down because you weren't "comfortable" putting up 6k instead of 2k.
