Smart people learn from past errors. Let's see how smart Luck really is...
agreed. I don't think Luck could have Belichick figured out in just 7 weeks (from struggling so bad at home). Peyton Manning never figured out Belichick through the life of his career and he's one god damn smart QB. Luck is special though, has legs can run, and has a WR who can that the top off any defense in Hilton. That's what makes this game so tough to wager. No matter what you can't count out Luck/Hilton combination even if Revis is on Hilton all game I think Hilton could beat him a few times his speed is otherworldy (as Richard Sherman should know from last year).

my money is on the Pats tho

Nobody looks ahead when the NFL playoffs start. Loser goes home. Those coaches don't bust their asses 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 6 months so they can put in a half assed performance in the biggest game of the year.

Denver wasn't the same team late in the season. Manning clearly wasn't right.

Public favorites in the playoffs have been a poor bet historically. Denver, New England, and Green Bay all public favorites that didn't cover last week. Seattle needed a Pick 6 from their own goal line to cover. Detroit was another anti-public spread winner vs Dallas in the WC round.

While I agree that Manning's health was the biggest factor, I'm not so sure teams still don't look ahead in the playoffs. Demarius Thomas went on the radio today and said they may have looked past the Colts and he also mentioned that some of the guys(Broncos) said they did not want to go to New England to play the Patriots. TJ Ward also mentioned looking past Indy in an interview this week as well. The teams that were in potential look ahead situations failed to cover, Denver vs Indy(look ahead to NE), Pats vs Balt (looks ahead to Denver), Green Bay vs Dallas (look ahead to Seattle).
