Sounds like she did you a favor. Why do you want pity?

But there are always two sides to every story.

The man is trying to help...

You continue to show what a loser you really are...

My advice...take the man's advice and get yourself some help mob...you need it.

God hates divorce , in fact ...... if you divorce someone you technically can't get remarried until your ex-spouse has passed away ( if you re-marry) while their alive & have sexual relations with new spouse you are committing ADULTERY in God's eyes

Hey Tim,

Relationships can twist your head and put your world on tilt. Don't let that happen. You are a man who believes in the guiding hand of God.

Like rush-man said focus on kicking ass in some positive area(s). Keep your mind focused on doing positive things. You will come out the other side a better man. When? I don't know. Depends on how much what you are going through hurts.

But you will come out the other side. Believing that God is your partner can only help. He will help you clarify good things. Doing good things is the basis for happiness.

Good luck, man.

Like Knightrofins just said, we are all rooting for you.

He’s not looking for help. Tim’s got this. He’s looking to pass wisdom. Thanks brother. Ignore the haters and keep doing you.

I hope your ex finds her way. Not a easy path by no means.

What everyone needs to realize is that God loves ALL of us!

The problem is not God, it is Satan and all the tools he has here on earth to prevent us from Eternity in Heaven.

Folks on here who are Christians need to present themselves HERE as a GOOD Christian.

Yeah we can tease but it’s difficult on a forum for all parties to know we are teasing.

Savage, I haven’t read a whole lot of your stuff in the RR but if you are a GOOD Christian lead by example.

I don’t see that in many of us (me included until recently).

When I quit drinking in 2017 my 77 year old Dad stopped as well.

He still has some bad habits (as we all do) in judging others but he sends me daily3 different spiritual readings and we talk about those.

My task here is going to be simple but difficult.

Get everyone to realize what type of person they are.

Ask they show that by the way they post.

Pray for those who need help in breaking addictions and Mental Health issues.

Use the Ignore List for those who only infect the RX with negativity.

Have fun making small bets (as long as it doesn’t bring negativity in my life).

Share God’s word....has anyone realized that the Bible is teaching us to use Common Sense in how to treat others...it’s not that difficult to read if you understand that.

Holy Bible app out there, 61 different versions so there is bound to be one you may like. I prefer the easy to read Contemporary English Version.

Read One chapter a day out of Proverbs...a good start!!

I replaced the morning news with the Daily Mass.

Then after my wife told me she was done, after praying early that morning I ran across Joyce Meyer...I originally skipped past but went back and her show was exactly what I had been praying about earlier that day.

God normally doesn’t work that fast, he’s not like Google and give an instant reply and you don’t always get what YOU think is right.

But after watching her I slowly found more folks on TBN or Hills channel.

So now I supplement the Daily Mass (yes we Catholics now it can be boring) with

John Gray (definitely not boring and Mob May like him)
Steve Furtick
Christine Caine
Joyce Meyer
Joel Osteen

Also started listening to Christian Pop for 1st time ever and it has replaced Country music as my go to channel in the truck and TV.

Anyway, long enough novel this morning.

Have a blessed day, All w-thumbs!^

I would blame alcohol, but COVID-19 lockdowns didn't help I'm sure

When one door closes, another door opens, I've seen this phenomenon play out hundreds of times

Soon to be X just sent text saying her granddaughter (works in nursing home) tested positive for Covid.

Now I’m glad she didn’t come over last week and help pack...:aktion033

Again, sharing my real life “scare” with Covid to let you know the battle in the brain between the Common Sense and the .04 What If ...

Last week the place I volunteered allowed outsiders in provided we wore masks.

Even though not required I had them do a temp check and it was fine.

Probably 90% of the time I was further than 6’ away and at my work area no one was within 6’.

The other 4 helpers all over 70 wore mask, I didn’t.

When we were the closest, during buffet style lunch, mask came off.

Next day, finally got opportunity for teeth cleaning but felt warm, took temp and it was 99.6.

Cancelled dental appt and called place I volunteered as many old folks there (not a nursing home)

Took temp all afternoon and never higher than 99.6.

Only other symptoms were abdominal pain.

Next morning temp spiked at 101.8 so I became more concerned.

Took 2 acetaminophen at 5am that morning and two more every 6 hours.

Temp taken hourly and never above 99.6 after that spike.

Kept the folks where I volunteered informed.

Next day, now a Sunday, almost no fever the entire day but still abdominal pain.

Now I keep being told it could be appendicitis but the pain was not on the right side only...:smoking:

Call my Dr 1st thing Monday morning and get in that afternoon.

No fever, push around my stomach, sent for X-ray.

That evening they call and say “anybody ever tell you are full of it” because you really are full of :poop:

So Tues I go get this big ass 4 liter bottle of GaviLyte (used for pre-colonoscopy cleaning) and go through that in the afternoon.

Didn’t take too many hours and I wasn’t full of anything face)(*^%

Never took a Covid test.

So, entire time I was 99.96% sure I didn’t have Covid because the only symptom I had was a fever above 100.4 ONE time in a 72 hour time frame..

But it was still stressful thinking WHAT IF that .04 (or most likely much less since I had no symptoms) happened and I was THE ONE who exposed an entire group of folks over 70 with COVID.

I was past the fear once the temps dropped but to lessen the worry for others regarding Covid or appendicitis I was glad I went through what was needed to make them (and whatever bug in my stomach) feel better (and flushed out).

Anyway, that’s my story and I’m sticking to itdbanana0-9

If my name was beefdiesel hooking up would probably be high on my list of things to do!!! :):)w-thumbs!^

This would have been good advice for the old me and several years ago but the new me has the following priorities:

1 - GOD

2 - Take time to heal myself

3 - Volunteer to help others once Covid garbage declines

4 - Find new friends with similar Christian beliefs!

Those should keep my busy for the next few years!

Stay positive, don’t feed the trolls and have a blessed day!
