Can I “blame” COVID-19 for my depressed, alcoholic wife divorcing me??

I’ve debated on whether to share what has happened in the last couple months but if I can save one marriage, one person to seek professional help, one person break the chain of addiction then it will be worth my time...and the only way I can thank God for helping me through this sad event.

I’ve had to cancel Wi-Fi and even auto-save doesn’t always work so many short posts most likely.

Time to let dogs in from potty break so TBC...

Never been happier in my life!

Should be final in a few weeks...

Wanted to wait until it’s Final but she moved all her stuff July 15 @ 8AM, (yes I will never forget )

Sad thing is she couldn’t quit drinking, which meant her anti-depression meds couldn’t work, and last chance (only delaying inevitable:think2 was her going to work as traveling nurse back in January but Covid fixed that....

Thus, can we chalk this up to Covid?? Guess it’s a silver lining for me...:think2:

just get up every day saying to yourself you are going to kick ass everything in your path. every single day.

sorry about all of this. many many many people are in your situation. know it. that you are not alone. get a group like yourself and vent. it will give you confidence.

One thing I’m learning is it’s much healthier to forgive her than vent...

The worst part is she probably had Paranoid Personality Disorder and if you look at the symptoms you wouldn’t wish that on anyone...

I now know why I quit drinking Nov 2017 and God answered my prayers and I started going back to church Jan 2019 after being away for 25 years....

HE was getting me ready to handle this stressful situation!

No way the old me could have went through this without much more verbal fighting and anger...

I hear every day when I watch Daily Mass, the family that prays together stays together

Not sure how accurate that is but I know God was not a focal point in either of my marriages...

Pregnancy #1 and earthly pleasures #2 but 26 years is a long time...
