Can books mandate bitcoin-only withdraw when cashier check is an option?

If I was offered a bitcoin payout processed same day versus a mailed international check that may take a week to get and another 30’days to clear- I’m 100/100 gonna take bitcoin. But that’s just me. Still would like to know if Heritage paid him?

Since they have been taking bitcoin for a while now, They are probably sittiong on a bunch. If you didnt see, the bitcoin market have been up. My guess is they are looking at this as being able to payout with free money. Thats a great way to be profitable.

That's really not important, he can have his own reasons for requesting payouts in whatever format he wants.
