I don't know about bitcoin mining but I would think bitcoins could replace Neteller as they are under no obligation to report anything to any government. Just transfer some money to a bitcoin bank and transfer bitcoins to a sportsbook for credit (if they started accepting bitcoins as payment).

It is a money system outside international banking.

This is still accurate over a year later. Bitcoins going strong, there are a few solid bitcoin sportsbooks (btcsportsbet and btcsportsmatch) - it's like neteller but better - there is no middle man, bank or govt to get in the middle of your deposit/withdrawals.

Can't believe there isn't more discussion on Bitcoin on here. Given all the trainwrecks like Betislands now, I think everyone would appreciate a sportsbook where you can deposit, bet a game, and withdraw right away, no need to keep a huge balance on there because bitcoin transfers are so easy/fast/free.

Granted they are pretty technical but I can't believe some of you guys are into it.

I tried this and it was a pain in the ass and then the sports books that take bitcoins are shit. There is nothing good out there right now. This will never become mainstream because it's too difficult.

You gotta keep an eye on the price of bitcoins, you gotta sign up with one company so you can then buy the bitcoins etc etc......too many hoops to jump through.

It's a fair point, but i think getting them has become much easier. Check out Bitinstant or Coinbase, can set up an easy bank transfer and get bitcoin. As far as the books being shit, yeah there are not a lot of options, but btcsportsmatch is a hybrid/exchange type site where you can bet at true vig free odds and only pay 1% on won amounts. Much cheaper than betfair etc.

Anyway, just seems like guys on this forums should be aware that there are better options out there, but yeah the whole concept is pretty technical. lol @tulips above though. Bitcoin has been around for 3 years now, with mainstream adoption, like Wordpress accepting them for payment.

In the same boat. Out of all the usual coins except bitcoin and moved to the metaverse with things such as Metahero.

what kind of tax software are you using?

With this staking and farming thing, filing will be a nightmare.
I looked at cointracker but what it is showing is not quite correct
