Wonder why 7-11 does not carry it. I thought you could get anything there except a home mortgage.

Walking isn't good enough exercise. You need to do something that works up a good sweat. Running, exercise bike, Nordic-Track, et. al.

walking is for the heart. Believe me 40 minutes of solid walking tires me and I drink a ton of water afterwards.

Had my first slimfast this morning. Not bad and filling. ( but i fininsihed off the last of the chocolate candy bars last night--so no more of those damn things).

Mtn biking and DIET will do the trick...If you are going to eat a junky meal do it LUNCh that way you have the rest of the day to burn it off...balance it with to small good meals on either side


get a bike hit the trails....TRUST me will work sir

try the "Crapkins" (Atkins) Diet

my mother tried it and it works. the reason is two-fold:

The Atkins food you buy SUCKS! it has no taste to it - and thus you don't wanna eat that shit

And it costs a FORTUNE - so you can't buy a lot of it.

combine the 2 and THAT is REALLY how you lose weight on the crapkins diet.

another way is to play shrink's picks. you will lose so much money playing them you won't be able to afford anything!

If you want something similar to what the drugwar-Nazis banned, try Sudefed along with a cup of coffee. The caffeine and the synthetic ephedra combine to kill appetite, and because sudefed is made by a major drug company (read: "our political contributor, unlike those health-store hippy-freaks!") they won't ban it.

get 2 fairly large bottles of water, use whatever kind of bottle is big enough to hold a lot of water, but not too big to take with you. I use apple juice bottles. Drink a couple of them every day.

Before you eat, drink AT LEAST one full glass of water. Two is better. This will fill you up a bit.

Stop drinking "liquid calories" such as coke or Dr. Pepper.

Also, try to exercise at least 20 minutes a day. Jogging or something. If you do it right before you eat dinner you'll feel a little more guilty about overeating.

Also, cut down on the fast food even if it's only 10% less a month...

Make a conscious effort to cut down the carbohydrates.

If you do all of that, you WILL lose weight.

Starting my diet today, currently at 196 pounds, I WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUNSTANCES GIVE UP BOOZE :) sorry

Goal is to be at 180 in two months. Starting with

1) eating up all the fancy/smancy healthy stuff I buy at the grocery store and never eat!
2) walking/running with the dog at least 3 times a day
3) possibly enrolling in a gym

I better lose weight before my body "locks up" on the fat and then its REALLY hard to lose

I have a can of chocolate Slimfast every morning...I don't have time for breakfast and that keeps me full until lunch; really good stuff.
