yes, I know this and I would have had a hard time paying me had I been in Lap's shoes. KW was banking on me getting stiffed and prolonging the drama. My hedge was with KW's money. I think you were close to catching on at one point. There was more to it, but you were the closest to the truth if I remember correctly.
KW contacted me not because of this, but because he was told that I had access to many different accounts that I could run through his advertisers. He used this situation as leverage to get me on board with him. At the time, the Lakers were the favs and already ahead in the first round. I figured the work he wanted from me was worth not having to cover the 14k bet if I lost. Basically it was about a 7-8k proposition and I took it. He was even willing to pay the 1k if Lap decided to stiff which is exactly what he wanted to happen. I believe he even went so far as to send ghosts into those threads to antagonize Lapdance. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never had any communications with KW before these events.
