Well said.....a lot of these old timers wanna go back to some utopia that never actually existed and they think the white power of trump is taking them there. The left can change some ideology but the right needs to change the people .....and not as much policy. Tougher to do.

What does white power have anything to do with it. For most its nothing about race. The working class of Americans dont agree with the nanny state. I personally dont like liberalism because it is weak. I want deregulation. I want America to work and be proud. I have no problem with immigration, just do it the right way. All Trump has done thus far is sign EOs that reverse Obamas EOs. This is why I voted for him. Nothing to do with race.

You guys are missing the whole point of this stupid post...the story is bullshit. Now don't get me wrong, AB 60 is a stupid law, but has NOTHING to do with voting rights. While*it's true that undocumented people in California can obtain a driver's license, the state has not passed any laws which also gives them the right to vote. The New Motor Voter Act does*automatically register citizens to vote when obtaining or renewing a driver's license, BUT this only applies to citizens who are already eligible to vote... meaning legal, not illegal.
And enough already with all of the whining about liberal press. Aren't you smart enough to research "news" to determine what the truth really is? All reporting will have the bias of the reporter. And what's with all of the conspiracy theories from these right/alt right shit factories? I guess with Blackzilla out of office- they will need something else to focus on.

opps i forgot to add, do you know how to verify if someone is a US citizen for voting? you make them swear or affirm they are a citizen. no shit not making it up, so when they say the SOS is verifying citizenship to most people you'd think they are cross referencing SSN or fingerprints or INS files... nope they are just looking to see if they checked the box swearing they are a citizen.
i have not looked it up but i bet it's illegal to ask for documentation for proof of citizenship for voting purposes in california and it's probably also ilegal to cross reference documents to verify voting eligibility there too

The problem begins & lies with immigration period.
Because there are loopholes in everything involving immigration & immigrants.
Not sure about other states but it's normal & well known in Florida when Mexican immigrants have families, since there's no history or records of them here, the female/wife will go apply for, and get, financial & food help, as a single mother with kids, while the husband/father, goes to work for cash money.
Then, you see them in the stores with 2-3 buggies full of groceries, which they pay for free with theirs ebt cards, and then wheel it out & load into their brand new big trucks & suv's that they can afford with the man working for cash & no bills.
This is fact & a common thing.
Much harder or impossible for you and i to pull this because we all have track records.
Event the Mexican-Americans here get pissed off about it.
Stop immigration period & you solve Soooo many problems...
