Caddyshack - How Great is this Movie...?

What is so great about that movie, is if you hang around a Private Golf club or CC...You can put a member in to each one of those actors....And it is very true.

Hated that cute fuzzy gopher. Wanted to see that rodent get blasted. Thought the booger bet was classic.
Didn't really like it the first time I saw the movie, but it grew on me. I'll take Animal House over it anyday, anytime.

Would have to agree with you with Animal House, but Caddyshack is Right next to it.

One of my Fav. lines is when Bluto ( Belushi ) says.........

Love it when spalding is eating at the fancy dinner at the country club and he asks person next to him loudly "are you gonna eat your fat". I use that one almost everytime I go to a steak joint. My wife would rather I not remembered that line from the movie!

its one of the best comedies of all time...if not THE best....just take a closer look at the names in the movie....lacy underalls....smoked porterhouse....the 1 liners are simply unrivaled IMO....

i really cant get into lines from the movie bc ill post one and think of another then another then another etc....not much comes close to caddyshack

Bill Murray just doesn't do it for me ! He reminds me of Jerry Lewis..... Neither one has ever made me smile ! good way to ruin a great flick for me is to put either of them in the Movie !

John Daly's new golf bag has a television screen

You ever spend four hours out on the golf course, wondering what the heck else is going on around the world? Well, spend more time with John Daly, because he could just flip on his TV screen on his golf bag and BOOM, you're informed.
Yep, Daly's new Big Red golf bag has a television screen and it fits snug atop the belly of the staff bag.
First thoughts -- man, I'd hate to be Daly's caddie. I've lifted those big bags for 72 holes, and the last thing those staff bags need is more weight. My second thought -- is there another golfer IN THE WORLD that would A.) put a television on his golf bag and B.) somehow pull it off? No, there isn't. He's the alpha and omega of this situation.
I have absolutely no idea what is going to scroll across this thing when he's playing, but the guy has more sponsors than Roy McAvoy, so I'd assume this thing is going to be busy (and hot).
Also, I'm clearly avoiding the "Caddyshack" reference, but Daly didn't in his tweet of the picture: "my new bag-built w/flat screen! Ads, videos & music! Rodney Dangerfield inspired me! Now working on his dance!"
Please, Lord, let there be a dance.
