All I can say is that when you stole the election from Gore you inherited a healthy prosperous and peaceful country.

Now look at it.

Joe, I would think that someone who believed in ID, would be concerned about the survival of every species. Everything was put here for a reason. It's not like they randomly evolved. Therefore they should be preserved. It's God's will.

Judge, all we really need is two of each species for the next time God floods the entire Earth to kill off all the Sinners Who Just Won't Listen.

Yeah, "healthy, prosperous and peaceful" -- platitudes, platitudes and more platitudes. No wonder you love Obama so much.

How bout some specifics?

Sure, Clinton may have "balanced the budget" but at what expense? A shrinking military? Terrorism as a "police matter"? Corrupt UN sanctions breaking down in Iraq? I don't consider those things accomplishments. I consider them national security negligence.

I mean, given that we know 9/11 was already in the works by the time Clinton gave his farewell address how can use the word "peaceful"? :ohno:

Fine, don't answer my question.

Democrats have NO IDEAS on how to deal with the issues and Al Gore and his the-planet-is-going-to-fry mantra is one of the most unhinged of them all.

This country needs "change" alright -- back to the RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT.

After Democrats lose in Nov in a year where victory was supposed to be a slam dunk, here's a suggestion from a humble Rx righty:

Fumigate your party and rebuild from scratch. Rebuild it on the values and principles that made your party so successful in it's JFK prime. Pelosi-Reid have 9% approval rating because they are COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH WITH AMERICANS.

Only then can you start thinking about winning elections again.

A junior senator with no legislative, business or executive experience in the real world is the nominee for your party.

Are Democrats certifiably insane?

MARK protests: You think the government has a right to tell you what you can and can't do on your own property???

SH: Being as you're okey dokey with the nanny state telling you what can ingest, I'm stunned you'd lose much sleep worrying about silly stuff like private property.

Another Mark day: Heads - I'm pro-big government, Tails - I'm anti-big government.

End result = THREAD VIEWS (and damn personal integrity)

win win

Bush and republicans are always in favor of big business. Will destroy wildlife to make a buck. Will poison our air, water and food to make a dollar.

"Will poison our air, water and food to make a dollar."

Willie if you had lived in Pittsburgh in the 60s you would have seen that was exactly what was happening. You cannot count on business to police themselves. It is only natural to put profits first.

"In 1972 the federal Clean Water Act began a new page in the river's history. Pollution from human activity had brought the river's fish life to low level's by the late 1960s, but today a 180 degree turnabout has taken place, and the Mon is known as a great place to fish and to pursue other recreational activities"

The river was just about dead. This summer when I was there, actually saw people swimming in it.

Judge, I know there was serious pollution going on, sometime before we realized we were fucking things up.

I'm no more concerned about US companies fucking up our environment today (they simply can't and won't do it today) than I am about US companies becoming sweatshops if they don't have a union. That's so yesterday.
