Saddam on the loose, no WMD, terriost alerts higher, basically the left was much closer as far as predicting this thing. The right kept changing the story, it's about WMD and not complying and destroying them, no wait it's about Iraqi freedom, no wait it's about getting rid of a harsh cruel dictatator, reminds you of that John Lovit character from SNL, yeah that's the ticket, that's it.
The war isn't really what makes Bush2 a horrible leader, it's the raping of civil liberties, the principles our great nation was founded on. At present a person can be detained and held an undetermined amount of time without access to lawyer or trial, is one not inocent until proven guilty?, do we not consider ourselves the champions of freedom?
There is no doubt whatsoever that Bush2 has our founding fathers rolling in their graves.

Come on. The US heard chatter and just to cover their azz they raised the alert. There has been many attacks stopped that we don't even know about. Get a grip.

Maybe this is off subject, but I've been away for a while, currently in Liguria(N of Tuscany for those geograhprically compromised)and this also maybe a few days late, but at first when gw denounced Israel for responding to yet another suicide attack from the hamas, I was hard pressed to remember an incident where a US
President went opposite Israel. Then my memory
kicked in; PURE POLITICS, not genius. Jews don't vote for him anyway. The backsliding since has been less than amusing, more than laughable.

Bush came out and presented the "Road map to peace", which is nothing more than all the peace plans put forward in the past. The bottom line is both sides were suppose to be onboard and stop the violence. Well that lasted 2 minutes and Hamas stepped up and said they wouldn't stop until all the Jews were killed. Now Bush has changed his tune and is calling to have Hamas wiped out. Which was all planned.
There will be no peace until one side has complete military victory.
