Most marihuana laws are irrational and thus, unjust to begin with and are predicated on the idea that marihuana cannot be taxed in the form in which it is now presently sold.

Funny how a thread about gay marriage turned into a weed discussion/debate! I don't smoke weed, just because I don't like the feeling it gives me, but I like my beverages. Anyways, about 10 years ago in Vancouver, me and a buddy were out for a stroll, him with his ganja, me with my beverage. A cop that came out of the shadows confronted us, wrote me up for drinking in public, and told my buddy to put out his fatty and finish it in the park across the street! I got nailed $60 for having a beer in my hand (he called it drinking in public - it was 2 AM on a deserted street), and my buddy was told to finish his J in the park! Too funny. Although I don't smoke the herb myself, I see no reason why it should be illegal. And it's not anymore here. There's a law going through now to decriminalize the possession of up to 15 grams of pot. In the meantime, those cop bastards can't do shit about it!

No Problem. As far as I am concerned you are a valuable and intelligent poster. Sometime my sense of humor is a little to offbeat. To tell you the truth I really have never given much thought to the reason people develop their sexual preferences. I grew up in the 50's and 60's when homosexuality was still very much in the closet in most of the US. I am married and have always loved women, I have known and been casual friends with several gay men and women in the course of my life, how they became to be gay is debatable. I suppose genetics is a possible answer, but only in a small percentage of cases. I think social, economic, and enviornmental circumstances are more of a contributing factor.

In other words, bigot is a way of saying you're prejudiced against something. It's kind of like being a racist against something that's not a race. Just about everybody is a bigot on something, personally I'm a bigot against racists, skin heads, the kkk, and probably a few more if I gave it more thought.
