Telling a poster to STFU and covering your ears won't shut out the truths of these last eight years. If you think the shoe throws represent nothing more than a security issue where the imposter's brains should have been splattered, then you miss the larger symbolism and what this act represents to the rest of the world; it was a symbolic poetic non violent strike at this smirking illiterate piece of snit president in the heart of camouflaged pants violent US military power-Baghdad. To the fenced out and beat down eight year veterans of silenced protesters around the world, this single almost clownish act carries serious resonance. World citizens hate the nasty brutal stupid US that Bush/ Cheney represent and they also hated losing a trusted beacon of hope that former US governance represented and the shoes were a great big powerful middle finger sendoff to this war criminal administration.
