Our country has been going downhill, it seems, ever since the iraq war. IMO, that was a dumb decision by bush, and it's what started this mess. The aftermath of the "war" gave rise to Al Queida, ISIS and the likes. I am not defending Saddam, but at least there was a little law and order in that part of the world before we interfered in their business. As usual, anything we get involved in internationally, somehow we end up making it much worse.
Topic is addressed. It is comically stupid to think pulling out at anytime wasn't gonna be a disaster. When you get in a war with no exit strategy and you dismantle a country and provide them too little to function....of course it will be a mess. The fact that the clown who says this is the one who got us in the war to start with is flat out hysterical. Of course you're too stupid to see the irony here. I was there... Glad Saddam is out of power, but we didn't leave much hope for the Iraqi people when we pulled out too soon, without leaving a stable Government in place, which would have taken another 10 years minimum to stabilize the whole region. We bit off more then we could chew with this one, American lives and now the Iraqi people are paying the price.
We needed to go in fully committed to stay 15-20 years, or leave permanent bases their like we have in S. Korea, with QRF on standby to deal with any terror types, such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda . None of these sprang up and caught fire until we left the region.

I've offered numerous people to come see me at any sporting event I said I'd be at. I was foolish enough to even give me section and row in the past. Had I known what sick individuals dwell here...I would not have done that. Not a single person ever took me up on anything. Hell, I said I wouldn't care if they spent a few days here....shouldn't have done that either but did. Nobody could get here.
Responses about how much I enjoy my life are proceeded by one of the wackjobs claiming welfare, govt asst and other nonsense. Just disproving their points.
