What was sickening was the last 8 years with Bush....Turner Gill is a good coach and deserves a chance to improve his position in life...He took a shit program and turned it around....the good ole boys syndrome is due for a change...
Of course he deserves a chance to improve, no one's saying that he doesnt. But as rolltide accurately noted, Gill has blown his opportunity to do just that, as he felt entitled to the Auburn job (simply because of his skin color) and, in the process, turned down a BCS job at Syracuse because he suddenly thought he was too good for Syracuse. Some nerve he has, thinking he's ENTITLED to jump from laughable Buffalo all the way to Auburn just because he's black. Fuck him!
So Gill deserves to rot for at least another year in Buffalo and maybe then he'll learn something from this. A year from now when his pathetic Buffalo team doesn't catch a hundred lucky breaks and, rather, completes yet another losing year I guarantee you he'll be kicking himself.
