I wonder what kind of money we're talking about here. I have no idea to even begin to wonder how much mods get paid or how much it took Bucfans to move forums.

Let me see if I feel you, a concept called loyalty vs. :money8: .

Nope, I do not feel you. If he feels he is hotter now than ever before, he takes the cash. If he blew up this MLB season, well what would The SHRINK offer? Effectively last season was his contract season, he bypassed that offer, raised his stock for free agency and took the better one. That The SHRINK, what a businessman.

If you have a house... you can rent it out.... or sell it, buy another fixer upper, fix it, and then sell it again. Your choice.

It has nothing to do with mods. It has to do with the picks forum. Mods are a dime a dozen, but a capper that can actually show a few winning seasons? That will draw some hits.

Part time mods here do not make much. I am sure he got more than double what he was making here.

The SHRINK hits new lows each and every month it seems. I am not putting this one on Buc's, although I can't believe he sold the RX out like that. Had to be a substanial amount of money, and I don't blame him in a way.

When will the SRHINK realize, no matter who he buys, or what email addresses he steals, his EOG is doomed, and he fucked up when he sold.

This is like any other drama on the RX, it will soon pass, another good capper will come along. We have plenty hear at the RX.

I just hope Buc's thought long and hard about this. A few posters have fell trap to the SHRINKS devious ways, only to return.

Shrinks true colors are showing now, what a swindler he is.

Very true...hiring a mod like Bucsfan67 gets two birds with one stone.

His bases picks were widely followed and made money for many RX posters.

Bucs will be missed.

Anyone can plug & shill books, but posters who consistently pick winners bring the traffic.

I didn't even know he was a mod for them...the reason he is being paid is for his baseball picks. Smart move...still shocked TheRX didn't/wasn't able to make a counter offer.

We just gave Bucsfan a substantial raise in early March - one that he seemed quite happy with -- go figure... There was never any way we could make a counter offer as the resignation suddenly appeared late last night.

This is like when the Million Dollar Man would get good guy's to sell out back in the days of the WWF. Never forget when Tatonka sold out. lol.

Can't say I blame him, $ is a very powerful thing, and if he had the opportunity to get paid, then by all means it's his right to take it.

Bucs, if you read this, good luck in all your endevours. You're a good guy and have always put up with my immature BS, and I hope no one here thinks any less of you for this move. I certainly haven't. Good luck man.
this is a very mature and rational view on this...I agree, and also hope people dont give bucs too much shit for making a personal business decision

I was speaking in terms of his RX employment, not his EOG status. I do not know nor do I care whether Bucs is a mod there.

However, of course I will be reading his posts, regardless where he posts, for he is a proven winner.

Rather bush league if Shrink & Bucs knew a while ago Bucs would be going to EOG, & used The RX during the first couple days of baseball season & then have the story of him leaving being the buzz of this forum.

Such is business, but I truly believe what one does during their life balances in the end.

Bucs should be paid for his plays for he is a longterm proven winner, so whatever he earned here obviously he is elsewhere worth more.

I was pulled over as the Basketball capper. It was a short ride. He went after Ace Ace, made a run at Bucs, mostly the top of the sport guys. For me the timing was perfect, and with all those new books opening with the EOG, I just glommed all of the EOG member special bonuses. Posted WNBA champ Monarchs 4-1. Seattle C-Hawks 7-1 Conf, 23-1 SB. Messed with Raiders, had some fun, but just missed all my pals here. I don't need money, and grass on the other side of the fence was way greener, but some of the jj sideshow stuff and beantown Jim racist stuff just did not work for me. But why I left is a whole different thread. Not sure how it will work, but life does go on. I wish him good luck, and hold no grudges against EOG and The Shrink. Business is business.

Woof, I think Bucs said in another thread that he wanted to finish his contest duties, mainly the NCAAB contest which finished yesterday..

I bet THERX cappers finish up more units in baseball this season than the EOG cappers. Anyone care to place a wager on that?:money8:
