Throwing at people is part of the game. Honestly I think it is fucking stupid because it hurts the pitchers team in more ways than one. Other team is now angry and pissed with a man on first while the pitchers team may feel some sort of fulfillment and satisfaction. It hurts the pitching team. But of course not every game is a close game.
Machodo spiked Pedroia and never got hit. Class?? Not sure about that. The Red Sox pitching staff is to blame for that one as they definitely did some head hunting and missed. It wasn't 4-5 times it was twice. Let's keep in mind 3 Red Sox batters got hit that series and No Oriole's got hit. There was a pitch to Benitendis head that was much closer than any ball to Machado.
Machado cried about that series like a little girl and he did way more damage than anyone did to him.

I hear you but problem is the intent. And going after one guy repeatedly for a bad slide. Just feels like they are looking for any excuse to throw at people. Pitchers abuse the shit out of that power so I get batters responding with a helmet and fists. But Harper had it happen one time in a non threatening area.
Orioles did it only because that's the only way to even the score. Buck not gonna sit on his hands. But we weren't the ones getting all bent out of shape throwing a fit over a slide that wasn't as bad as they made it all out to seem.
