Haas been playing really well lately. 3 top 10s in a row. Colsaerts has missed the last two cuts and gotten 44th in the same tourneys. I know match play vs stroke is a different animal, but if you're game is off you're not gonna do well with either.

2) My match play history isnt as good as tournament plays, so tread lightly. My strategy hinges on only 2 main factors: history in matchplay and current strength of play. However you get twice the data points because you have two players in the equation. Once I see the likelihood of a victory I incorporate the odds
I took a long look at Haas vs Colsaerts but I found my analysis at odds. Colsaerts has not been playing well recently while Haas has been strong to start 2013. Colsaerts has the matchplay experience and has excelled, Haas is unproven in this matchplay setting. Dove Mountain favors the long hitter so Colsaerts could do well and Haas has been eliminated in first round last two years. Lean towards Colsaerts but I dont want to try to catch a falling knife. GL

A couple tough breaks from having a great week. Manassero just made the cut by having a fabulous back on Friday and then took down Overton by 1 stroke, and Barnes sinks a long birdie on the last hole on Friday to win by one over Sabbatini. Ouch!
