Broncos NEW MLB Thread - 2009

Well if you can't get Brewers at the line listed, then no play. I haven't been to the book yet to place my bets. When I come back, I will post whether or not its a play for me based on what the books out here have.

I'll be back in an hour or so.

i tried stating that for people who dont understand how u play games these days.... so hopefully that helped....

I have Brewers -1.5 at +200 at a book here in Vegas and I played it at that.

I also have three parlays at $100 each as follows:

$100/$6200 - all six sides ML except Mets and Phillies which are RL.

$100/$13500 - all sides RL except Brewers which are ML.

$100/$5300 - Mets, Phillies and Baltimore RL plus San Fran ML.

Figures maybe I'll have some new baby good luck tonight so I'm going for it. :laugh:

3-4 tonight but we actually won 1.35 units. Sucks that 3 of our losses were from our team winning by only 1. It happens, still can't complain about winning units with a losing night record wise.

Old System:

62-54 (+17.10 units)

New System:

ML Favs: 0-0
ML Dogs: 1-1 (+.60)
RL Favs: 31-35 (+26.05)
Totals: 9-4 (+13.80)

Total: 41-41 (+40.45 units)

Grand Total: 103-95 (+57.55)

quick question- on your rl games that you play do you play a certain amount on each game and you play to risk a certain amount ???
example- risk 200 on each runline , always risking not to win right ?? and you always risk the same amount on all picks right ? ty in advance

5/30 Plays:

Detroit RL +125 (play to +120)
Yankees RL -105 (play to -125)
Brewers RL +175 (play to +150)
Oak/Tex Under 10.5
Texas RL +130 (play to +120)
Boston/Toronto Under 9.5
Toronto RL +170 (play to +150)
Phillies RL -115 (play to -125)
Minnesota/Tampa Over 9.5
Tampa Bay RL +150 (play to +130)

Wow, a ton of plays today. The most I've ever had in a day. This kind of card always worries me, but the numbers work out so they are all plays. A 6-4 day would be absolutely great (obviously I wouldn't complain about 10-0 LOL) BOL!!

Each play is three units. If for example the play is +130, I risk 3 units to win 3.9 units. If the play is -130, I risk 3.9 units to win 3. Hope this answers your question.

well, that was a lucky break after being down 3-1... only a score of 5-3 of 6-3 would've brought in both bets and what do you know... 5-3 it is!

Not going to affect the record or values listed, but I checked my personal tickets and I got some great value with the plays. Most are higher than posted. For example, I got TO RL at +190 and I got TB over 9 and not 9.5. I'm not going to change what is posted though, just wanted to share.

Update after early games. Went 3-1 won 9.3 units. My parlay is still alive. @)

Totals: 10-5 (+13.50)

Total: 44-42 (+49.75 units)

Grand Total: 106-96 (+66.85)

WOOOHOOOOO!!! Hit my parlay 8-2 on the day, but 7-0 with the sides!!! Huge profits today even without the parlay winning 25 units!!!! I hit for about $14K in profits today including my parlay. Hope all were on board with this one. What a way to close out the month. Hopefully tomorrow we really end it with a bang.

Old System:

62-54 (+17.10 units)

New System:

ML Favs: 0-0
ML Dogs: 1-1 (+.60)
RL Favs: 38-35 (+54.55)
Totals: 10-6 (+10.20)

Total: 49-43 (+65.35 units)

Grand Total: 111-97 (+82.45 units) - Hitting only 53% but up over 82 units!!! Unreal!!
