Alright, the Washington loss seals it for me. I have two changes to doggie plays. It will begin tomorrow. Hopefully we can start finding the winning dogs and not just the dogs with the most theoretical value. Look for fewer dog plays from now on, but the ones I do play should bring the best chance of winning.

ML Favs: 9-3 (+14.43)
ML Dogs: 3-6 (-4.89)
RL Favs: 1-1 (+.4)
Totals: 1-0 (+3.00)

Total: 14-10 (+12.94 units)


First full week down and did pretty good.

Hopefully with the change in the way I'm playing dogs, we'll do a bit better. Dogs started good, but ended the week very badly losing the L3. See you tomorrow.

I apologize but I have a rather amateur question. If I'm trying to lay a consistent 1 unit per bet here ,so I'm betting TO win, for the faves, correct? For example each time I would bet enough TO win $100 (LAYING DOWN $125 to win $100). But for dogs, do I do the exact same thing (usually its like laying down $75 to win $100, or do I LAY DOWN $100?

It's up to you. Personally with dogs I lay the units to win whatever odds are. In your example, I'd lay 100 to win 125. For favs, I'd lay 125 to win 100.

Honestly, its not important right now. Still seeing if its going to work. If not, I will adjust further. I would advise all to be very cautious with the dog plays for now. It has to do with percentages and juice and juggling the right combo of numbers.

So far the adjustment has saved us some money today as a game that would have been a play under the old system lost.
