Getting my plays on the board early today as I am headed to the Jersey shore to enjoy some sun and of course the game at 3pm.
Definitely the match up of the tournament and possibly the game of the tournament. Italy has come to play and it seems the Germans are finding their stride. Italy has a solid track record against Germany that cannot be denied and Germany are the reigning WC champs. I expect a tight game with both sides taking calculated chances as to not give up the one goal that could oust them from the tournament.
I have looked at this game nine ways to the middle and I see a low scoring game that will end in a draw. That means the value is at +.5 on ITALY.
However, Germany will find a way in extra time of PK's to move on to the Semi-Finals.

Guys I can't seem to get a good read on today's France vs Iceland game. i honestly think it could go either way. Sure France has a more talented squad but I'm not totally convinced. Iceland has done what no one expected them to do, but that could all end today.
I hate to disappoint, but no plays for me today. We had a killer week and I'm not going to force it.
If you must know, based upon previous games I see the most value on the OVER 2.5 that's simply a lean and no official play.

Let me make a few suggestions for the semi-finals. I count for one possibly 2 goals from Wales during the regulation period (90 minutes). Portugal will have a hard time compensating.
For the France - Germany game my thoughts go for draw overtime and penalty shoot out. Germany will be missing players. However they will not be missing the 2 key ones. Ozil and Kross. Since both Khedira and Schweinsteiger will be out, it will be Emre Can on the line up. For me Emre Can is a far better player than both the aforementioned. To replace Gomez I would bet on Podolsky or Gotze. To replace Hummels, Howentes will resume his position in the center of defense accompagied by Moustafi if Boateng will not make it. For me this line up is a better one than the one that Loew has been producing so far. Considering that in all likelihood the ball posession will be on Germany's side, I do not feel that France will be able to use the same tactics as with Iceland. On the other hand I would be interested to see how the German defense will handle Griezmann and Giroud.
