Alright tonights game 5 is very similar to the Royals game 4 yesterday in the simple sense that I am not going to overthink this one.
I think we can all agree the Bochy has been the better manager and Bumgartner the better pitcher. BB = WINNER!
With that in mind, I am backing the Giants tonight in the ML at -150 for 3 units to close this puppy out.
As for the O/U well I have no play. Could go either way really. I think it depends a lot on which Wainright shows up today.

I fully expect the Giants to come out and get a few runs off Shields before their 3 headed monster of a bullpen comes in around the 6th or 7th. With that said BUM will pitch better than he did in his last outing where he surrendered 3 runs. Today, the Royals will be lucky to score 1 against him, which makes the RL a solid play at that value.

Tonight we have Peavey who has struggled against KC taking the mound for SF against a hard throwing rookie in Ventura, who has also had his share of struggles of late with control. We saw a total of eight runs last night and I expect at least that tonight. I can also see one or both of these pitchers getting roughed up early setting us up for a nice OVER at +$$$$$.

Over 3.5 F5 at -110 for 2 units
Over 7 at +100 for 2 units
The way I see it is the Royals are about to embark on an NL stadium for three straight games, knowing that BUM will pitch during that stretch most likely game 5. The Royals have played extremely well on the road and they face Hudson, who has been anything but impressive as of late. I am not a huge fan of Guthrie either, even though he has been solid to close out the season, the Giants will score against him. Once again, I expect the offenses to dominate two mediocre pitchers getting another OVER to cash F5 and full game. I fully expect the Royals bullpen to come through and squeak out a close one, giving the Royals a 2-1 series advantage. I really liked the Royals effort in game 2 and think they have what it takes to steal one on the road tonight.
