Lucky 2 goals in the last 10 minutes to get a push , I will take it .

I am not sure about Werder anymore , Vander starting instead of Wiese in goal , think I am gonna skip this and just root for Werder .

2007-2008 : 357-222 + 569.99 units

Betting without any staking plan and fixed amounts so sometimes there were big swings , will have to work on it this year tho setting units bet limits per play . Have been doing a lot of in-play betting at betfair with mixed success , backing either over or under 2.5 pre-match and then hedging after certain amount of play time to have plus money on both sides without risk .

1 February

England Premiership

Start time : 08:00 AM PST

Liverpool vs Chelsea

Liverpool TEAM TOTAL

My pick is
UNDER 1 GOAL

Odds : - 105

Bookmaker : pinnaclesports

5.25 units to win 5 units

Gonna place my first soccer bet of the year on a game that on paper looks like it should be a low scoring affair . In last 8 meetings Liverpool never scored more than once against Chelsea , one goal would get us a push here but I have hard time seeing 2 goals in the net of Chelsea today . Chelsea allowed 13 goals in 23 games so far this season and Liverpool didn't score more than once in their last 4 games . Obvious those are just stats and anything can happen in a soccer game but I think Chelsea plays their typical low risk style game and doesn't allow more than one goal , 0-0 is also possible or 0-1 .

89th and 93.5 min goals for 2-0 win ... not bad ...

Guess I might as well take more time off , what a way to start the year .

Very tough to lose when it's 0-0 with 1 minute of regular time to go without the added time and then they score twice .

4 February

Europe , Friendly

Start time : in 50 minutes

533.gif

Slavia Prag vs Metallist Kharkiw

My pick is
UNDER 2.5 GOALS

Odds : 1.95

Bookmaker : betandwin

2 units to win 1.9 units

I have no clue how bookies can fancy over against under here , both teams are big under teams especially Metallist . Even that it's a friendly game I still dont see many goals in this game and I am not really a big fan of betting unders but this one looks solid on paper unless they bring in bunch of amateurs who concede a lot of goals . Metallist played two friendlies this year : 0-0 and 0-1 .

You were right mate , 0-3 already after 40 minutes ... I should know better than betting on friendly game . Pretty funny considering Metallist was 2.60/+160 to win this game , 0-3 doesn't look too bad ...

Hmmm shit, I really hate friendlies. Had some bad beats there as well in the past. Could have been nice to make a profit on Metallist though.

Slavia probably with some scrubs line up as well otherwise I dont think they would be 0-3 behind after 45 mins .

Can someone tell me what makes a game a "friendly?" Does that mean it basically doesn't count?

Teams play in a league, but many leagues actually have winter breaks. To get started again after the break they want to get back to their routine rhythmn and to fit in newly bought players (as this is also the time the transfer window opened for a bit again). Teams then face teams on a friendly way, they play the games, but they don't count for anything at all, in fact, quite often (also in this case with Slavia vs. Metallurg) the teams don't even play in the same league. Hope this helps.

End result was 0-3 too , didn't think Metallist would score so many ... All goals scored from 13 to 39 min and then nothing anymore . I thought about taking overs in some games in Netherlands , what do you think mate ?

I have never played overs/unders yet, but let me see...
They're always over/under 2.5 right? Well the Dutch league normally produces a lot of goals compared to other leagues.
From my point of view (no research or whatsoever) I would say the following.

Twente-NAC, should be an over, Twente is a good team, specially at home, scores a lot of goals. NAC also scores pretty well, but not sure if they do so away. Twente failed to win at home over Utrecht, so they will be determined to crash NAC. So I would say over.

AZ-Roda JC, should be an over as well. AZ on a 10-0 overall streak and a 12-0 home streak should demolish 16th place Roda JC with at least 3 goals behind Bram Castro.

Feyenoord-Sparta, will we finally produce a win? If so, I would say this game goes over, because if Feyenoord wins they win big. Sparta doesn't perform well either, so a Feyenoord win could be in the make. However they play so dramatically that I would not be surprised if Feyenoord won't win again. In case Sparta can compete this game will most likely be under.

Utrecht-Graafschap, two not too well scoring teams facing each other is aiming for an under I would say. Utrecht on the other hand often scores a lot at home, specially against low ranked teams like Graafschap.

Groningen-NEC, this is a tricky one. Groningen scores quite a lot, NEC not too often. I would go for under, but don't kill me if Groningen will win 3-1.
