One of my favourite teams to make money on so far this season .
IMO I do the right thing getting the early odds as I dont see many interesting soccer matches in Europe tomorrow so it could become a popular play .
- Tomorrow Salzburg will aim for their first victory in a while when they meet the newcomer Kapfenberg . So far the home team is still without a win in their own stadium in the first two games with a loss and one draw . They will have to fight this season not to go back to the 1.League in Austria from Bundesliga which is the top league .
- Salzburg only played once on road and this match finished as a draw , 2-2 where Salzburg had to play in awful rain and with one player less ( Mahop got a red card ) . Watched this match on TV and Salzburg was the better team with plenty of wasted chances with 10 men on the field .
- Red Bull Salzburg will be without Zickler tomorrow , he has an injury but for my liking this isnt a such huge missing as he didnt impress me so far , even missed a penalty kick in their last game . Mahop will not play as he still has 1 game left to sit out and Rakic who went to China for the Olympics .
- More important tho for visiting team is that Robin Nelisse and Marc Janko will be able to lead the Red Bulls for the first team this season , so far Nelisse with 3 goals and Janko with 5 goals in just 3 games ! Salzburg is ready to show their offensive weapons tomorrow but their defense is also not something their opponents would consider easy to score against with a very experienced player like croatian N.Kovac .
- No international games worries for Red Bull Salzburg as they travel to Armenia next week with a 7-0 lead in the bag from their home win in the first meeting .
From SV Kapfenberg site :
We will have a very tough game tomorrow as Red Bull Salzburg comes to visit us , a team that has 40 millions to work with this season and is looking for the title compared to them we only have 1/10 of their money .
''Nobody gives us a chance tomorrow but money doesnt play soccer , that are players who do it and we will play with our heart and try our best .''
What can I say ...
Sure they wont admit they dont have many opportunities against a such stacked team for this league and I can hardly see them taking any point from this game . They will try to defend but people they got arent called Fabio Cannavaro or Carles Puyol while Salzburg has top offense in this league . Salzburg will come in very movitated into this game and do what they do best which is scoring goals .
