i dare any **** to try and say the LVSC dont know what they're talking about. USC is best team in the country. the () denote ridiculous bcs rankings

I agree with your Texas, Florida, and OU choice but to believe that USC is the number 1 team in the country is crazy. There stats are high because they play a shitty schedule. The only top ten team that USC might could compete with is penn state that is because I believe they are way over rated.

The last time I checked, the LVSC poll has ZERO point ZERO bearing on who plays in the BCS Championship game.

I already proved my point earlier

they came out with

Michigan -4 @NDame

a few weeks back.

That tells you all you need to know about LVSC and their precious ratings.
All it does is give them an idea of how to put a line on a game and USC will ALWAYS be a favorite because the public thinks they should be. it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with which team is better.

just like in the rose bowl a few years ago when they lost as a 7 point favorite....

if we're dong random ratings, how about using Massey? he has USC 9th, just barely ahead of Boise

Thats what happens when a team loses to Oregon State and plays inferior opponents in a weak conference. The only team worth a damn USC will play this year is Ohio State and even then Ohio State is not all that good.

Beating up on Washington and Washington State is not impressive. Barely beating a medicore Arizona team by 7 points is not impressive. Lets see how they do against California.

We heard this same anti-USC crap last year heading into the Rose Bowl because they stubbed their foot vs Stanford. How'd that one turn out?

USC is the best team in the country, hands down.

they can murder some random Big10 team in a Rose Bowl or Oregon (who even Boise whipped) or Washington....but USC struggled with Arizona and lost at Oregon St....USC couldnt keep up with better conferences like the Big12 or SEC.

Hmm is this why Pete has a dominating OOC record including beating teams in every BCS conference except the Big East as they have not met?

Get your facts straight before posting complete bullshit.

Everyone knows this. Most everyone hates the idea of them being there and will take whatever they can get to see that they are left out. It's too bad that SOS matters as much as it does because it can (and in USC's case) proves nothing as to how good a team is. It's not their fault. You can point to a single loss to the 2nd winningest team in the conference over the last few years, they try to downgrade them by calling Oregon St. inferior in some way. People say they have to earn it but what are they doing week after week to make themselves better, albeit with a weak schedule. They are literally working their asses off every week. PC gets criticzed for the hard workouts constantly. But because the NFL drafts about 34 playmakers from the conference, USC suffers because now the conference is weakened by it. PC isn't the only HC to criticize the BCS lately. There isn't a single soul here who has agreed with it from the start. How convenient that they LIKE the BCS and what it's done to USC this time. Next time it will be you.

With the BCS, the seaon is the playoffs. You have to get it done from start to finish, especially if your conference is in a down year. Nobody cares how well your playing at the end of the season unfortunately. So if you drop a game to an unranked team just face the music, you loose control of making it to the title game. Maybe you get lucky and a key team looses or maybe you miss out. Until there is a playoff there isn't anything you can do about it.
