I don't care if he would or not. I don't concern myself with his life and neither does he with mine. I don't use a local so it doesn't matter but thanks for your candid advice.

The rules will say they can do whatever they like. The problem I have in these cases is when they decide to inform you, which should be but hardly ever is, before the event starts. While this case might be obvious, I've seen plenty on a 3 Pt spread or 1/2 pt in soccer. Thats why we hate Books in Britain, they are the enemy not your Friend as they seem to think in the States.:drink:

I didn't steal anything Slim. I bet into a bad line and it's something I've never done before. As a matter of fact I stated in this thread I've never even seen a bad line and didn't even know it was wrong. I've seen threads on many forums where guys have stated all bets are final so it's my fault for believing that was actually true.

Anyway, my account was shut down and that's the end of the story.

betting into it is one thing, acting dumb is another, so is actually expecting them to pay you anything for it based on the whole "they took a bet, they should honor it"

You took a shot, they caught you, move on, forget about it, dont come on here crying like a baby, referring to us as 'boys' and mentioning the biggest jackass of them all, hoping, with your charade that you'll get something out of it.

If I sound a bit harsh, its because I work for a sportsbook, and Ive heard stories like this over and over again.

I once sat there and talked to a guy for about an hour a half, pissed because his baseball total was cancelled, cause the game was rained out in the 6th or so inning and it had already gone over.

He said in 17 years of betting, he had never dealt with such bullshit.

I kinda got a kick out of it for about the first 43 mins. but after a while it gets old.

Slim, I don't care if you believe me or not. I've betting offshore for a number of years and have never seen a bad line. I bet into it because I thought they had to honor it. I read the rules that said "all wagers are final when accepted by both parties." I believed other posters that said all bets are final and had to be honored and that's my fault.

They didn't "catch" me doing anything because I wasn't trying to hide anything. I don't care if you don't believe me but that's what happened. I talked to 5Dimes and she told me the bet had been canceled and I hung up and said to myself "ok, no big deal." Obviously I thought that after I posted this thread.
