Identity, I was just joking. I have to say that I have been sports donating about 10 years. And sports investing about 3 years now.

Why are you asking me this? Is it because I asked the other poster to explain what is his reasoning with, the whole world and their dog is on this team theory. Well, I dont believe in that type of shit. I just do the work myself and not worry what the world is doing. But, I do like to hear anothers view on this theory that has been around since Anal Sex.

Is this why your asking me how long I was sports betting.

Co Captain, I've been doing this, full time, for a living, for some time now, and, I can tell you that it's not a theory. It's a fact that, on occasion, Vegas will set trap lines. Furthermore, have you heard of contrarian investing? It's an investment method that's been around for a long time, in the stock market, and, even in sports investing.

It's not "shit" to believe in, as you put it...it's something to seriously look at.

jcambert, yes I know all about those things, not an expert or anything in them. Its not for me.

But, my whole thing is, no one will never know the whole truth to whether it was a so called trap or not. Everyone is just guessing. Unless your the one doing it or on the inside with Vegas as they do it, meaning you have first hand involvement somehow. Then no one can really prove that this is what accurred. Without proof, everything is just an assumption. If your assumptions prove to be right, and you win playing this way. The only thing you can take credit for is that you were lucky. Because for one you did no work in capping a game , you just followed a so call assumption betting. To take credit for knowing where a trap is, without like I mentioned first hand info, etc. you are only assuming that this is what they are doing. Because, on the other end, if you took credit for knowing that it was a trap , because you won and I lost, that would make you sharp. And thus, vice versa, now that I won , against the so called trap, am I sharp for beating a trap. Well, I aint going to take any credit for doing any such thing, and no one should either if the outcome were the other way. I am just taking this , as a lucky win, period. Aloha CC.

How could anybody have lost this game? If you likes Syr, you could have layed 2; if you like Gtown you would have jumped in at 3.5 or 4. Everyone should be happy. I know I am. And I bet some others are too!

Co Captain, I was stating an opinion, and, in fact, I stated it before the game went off..namely, that it was a trap, and, I have a right to state my opinion, and, if you don't like it, then don't read the opinion, but, until such time as stating my opinion becomes illegal, I will continue to do so, and, there is nothing that you will be able to say or do about it. Now move on.

JCambert - Not trying to be a smartass, but what do you feel the real line should have been? The reason I ask is that we all know Syracuse came off some poor performances, but GTown lost to St Johns.

Don't you think they had a hell of a week of practice, dealing with the media, etc. This was a game that GTown needed for their morale, they needed an awesome showing, and they gave it.

Don't forget there are a lot of small home dogs today. They have been covering the last couple of weeks. The public has started to ride this trend and the lines reflect it. Good luck.

When I first looked at the line, I had my line set at -7 or so, and, when I saw -2, and I saw that everyone was on this game, on this board, and on Wagerline, I felt right away that this game was a trap.

I originally thought about 4-5 so we were right there. I could see people thinking OK tonight also. Thats the power of the name teams, your perception of the line is different then the publics (for better or worse on both sides).

I don't use Wagerline, it clouds the facts for me. If there is a game I like, I dan't care how many people are on it. I can see it to be useful with line moves.
