2* Auburn Tigers +2 -110

Auburn at night is one of the toughest venues in college football. The big story was a 3-2 win for Auburn last week, overshadowing the fact that this Auburn defense has given up 0, 13 and 2 points in their first 3 games. Auburn's 3-2 game was on the road in Todd's first start of the year at QB. Now, LSU will have to deal with a rook QB making his first road start as LSU should play pretty conservative on offense while Hatch gets baptism under fire. LSU will continue to pound the rock, but Charles Scott will find little running room vs. a jacked up Auburn defense with the #9 rush defense in the land. Auburn is battle-tested in this young season, playing better competition, and already having a tight road win under their belt.

Auburn 13
LSU 10

I disagree. LSU's offensive line will create plenty of room for Scott AND Richard Murphy. LSU hasn't even shown the package of plays for Murphy this season, so Auburn has NO clue what they'r going to see when he is on the field.

LSU 23-10

No play for me.

I think this may be the toughest game on the schedule for Florida, especially after Tennessee lost to UCLA in the opener. Toughest game because it is the first road game, Vols have revenge on the mind, its the Gator defense first real test, FL O-line has been bad without LG Jim Tartt, Vols D-line is tough, and Gators may take the Vols lightly. Yes I said it and I mean it.

With FL off a big in-state win over rival Miami, and FL beating the Vols 59-20 last year, and Vols unranked, and a big home underdog in a big rivalry game, all intangibles go to Tennessee except for 2 big ones:

-Urban Meyer has a ridiculous record off a bye week.
-Urban Meyer is like 10-1 vs. his rivals (FSU, UM, Tennessee, UGA) since taking over at FL.

Florida didnt beat the Vols as bad as the scoreboard said last year, and a few turnovers were key.

Tebow is a tough guy and he will be fine on the road as he always has. I think Gators win a tight one.

i gotta say florida and usc should meet for the national title...i think tenn is terrible but i think florida is just a fantastic football team as well as usc...SO much speed and talent on both of those teams its disgusting...only problem will be florida's conference games and USC playing Oregon...but i think both teams should roll

Florida is terrific, but matches up poorly with USC. Because the Gators have speed and athletes that are 5 foot 7. USC has speed and athletes that are 6 foot 2.

Fair enough, but in my opinion Petey one offensive package wont win LSU a big rivalry game on the road.

I think LSU is a top 10 team and certainly capable of winning this game. I just like the spot for Auburn.

Nice day Slaya. Had a feeling you'll bounce back today. Had I seen that you were on Bama I would have bought back some on the little piggies.

Hope you join me on the Tigers....Auburn that is.

The ONLY aspect of this game that is in Auburn's favor is the home field. Is THAT enough to consider them a winner? LSU is better than Auburn in every aspect of this game.

LSU wins by double digits.....Boxey.

I dont agree here though PETEY!

Boxey says that LSU's rook QB making his 1st start on the road is a 75% ATS disadvantage for LSU.

I dont make the rules, I just bet on them.

You put Jamarcus or Flynn or Perilloux back there behind center and I promise you that Auburn is no longer a play for me - although still a consideration.

2* play = home field, LSU rook QB on the road, a defensive game where both teams want to run the ball...give me the home team w/ a jacked up defense..........every time.

It's no disrespect to LSU. In fact, if they win, I will have new respect for them.
