Heading on a Bourbon Tour Trail in Kentucky in April
how do you like to drink it? straight or with an ice cube or howLucky me got a bottle of McKenna 10 year 100 proof, for Christmas! I'm about 20 minutes from breaking it open.
It's great to have grown kids that know your vices!
Drink what you think tastes good, don’t take others word for it. Everyone’s palate is different.
Many bottles are high-priced only based on hype.
For under $40 you can be very well-served with Elijah Craig, Eagle Rare, Weller Antique, McKenna BiB, Four Roses SiB, or Makers.
Best bargain: Evan Williams BiB for $16.
Agree with JohnnyMac each to their own but:
Blantons is outstanding(Mothers Milk)
Basil Hayden solid
15 year Pappy Van Winkle as good as you can find, cause the 23 year is next to impossible and in my opinion not worth the bump up
for smoothness and price go High West Campfire or Buffalo Trace
