Wil,

No need to post the homer disclaimer before every post you make about
a Boston team. We all know you aren't a homer, and for those who
think you are - who cares, they're idiots anyway.

IMHO.

For sure it's not Wil's attititude that has turned this board into anti Boston.

2 HRs in same inning stats.

The last time a player hit two home runs in the first inning was Aaron Boone of the Cincinnati Reds against the San Diego Padres on Aug. 9, 2002, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Both were two-run shots.

Bret Boone and Mike Cameron were the last American Leaguers to do it, and they did it in the same game, according to Elias. On May 2, 2002, the pair hit back-to-back homers twice in the first inning for the Seattle Mariners against the Chicago White Sox.

A player has hit two homers in an inning 54 times in major league history. Jim Edmonds of the Chicago Cubs was the 53rd, doing it on June 21 against the White Sox.

wil..

PS. I know you Red Sox haters can't stand to see them do well but Ramirez was traded for Jason Bay and others in a three way deal between LA, Pitt and Boston.

I was actually getting a haircut because I am flying to Vegas in the morning. My wife has a friend who comes to the house and cuts my hair.

I got back in time to see the 3 run shot by Youk that won it.

I am logging out.

See everyone who is going in Vegas at The Golden Nugget.
