The kid just didnt seem to have any zip at all on his pitches. You almost felt bad for him. Like, someone stop this... but you know when you bet with a debut rookie it always hit and miss... i have done it and I bet I am 50/50 you either have them tank...or they strike out everyone cause the hitters havent seen him yet...

I have just learned over the years to just avoid it... you either get dominance or flob job...

So funny Penny and I both agree that debut starters should just be left alone. In the case of the d backs this bet is as much against Anderson as it is anything. Anderson should not be a favorite and either should the brew crew

I dont think Chip Hale is even coaching to win at this point of the season. He got 5 decent innings out of Shipley so what does he do ? Let's him bat for the 3rd out of the fifth and hangs him out to dry in the sixth and he gives up a 3 run bomb. That just destroyed the kids confidence
