St. John’s +7 (-110), 2 units

UConn is going to have a tougher time the next few weeks with the announcement of Bouknight having elbow surgery. The Huskies are still a good team and won’t fall apart. They have won the last couple games without him. But there will be nights when they have trouble scoring which will allow their opponent to hang around or pull an upset. I think today is one of those days. St. John’s defense is not great, but they can score. I think they at least do enough to hang around and get a cover.

Baylor -8.5 (-110), 2 units

I think Baylor is the right side here. Kansas is a good team and I knew when the line opened at 9.5, they would take money. I just think Baylor is a tier above. Baylor's only home loss last season was to Kansas. Great chance for Baylor to flex their muscle at home against the perennial cream of the crop in the Big 12. I expect Kansas to go back and forth with Baylor early. Kansas is coming off a loss to OK State and has had 6 days to stew on that. Plus, Kansas will be up for this game anyway with a chance to hand Baylor their first loss. I don't think they get it done and Baylor pulls away in the second half for a double digit win. GL

Disgusting end to that Baylor game. They were absolutely the right side. Should have been on my way to a 4-0 sweep. That's how it has gone this year.

There isn’t any one great matchup tonight, but there are some interesting games. I am looking at one or two more plays tonight. I just am waiting to see if these lines move a bit in my favor.
