only yanks fans really believe in the bambino curse. most sox fans (including me) dont. . . i guess they enjoy watching tapes of his overly pudgy frame and rediculously slow bat speed and his wide chest with biceps the size of the fan that screwed up the out for alou.

the problem with baseball history is that even though the babe couldnt compete in the 50's on up people talk about him like he's great by any standard, when if you watch the tapes you know its not true.

.. And you say he couldn't compete in the 50's, yet was voted greatest ballplayer of all time..

I know he looked fat and out of shape, but he must have been a decent ballplayer to have those numbers..

oh so i suppose he is just some genetic freak that occured in the early 1900's?! yeah ok sit ur ass down at fenway in those tiny seats built for people of the same era. people get bigger every 10 years make no mistake.
