Can we get this straight? BOS will return an amount equal to your total deposits?
Case One. Deposit $1000. Won $4000 more. Only get back $1000.
Case Two. Deposit $1000. Lose it all. Still get back $1000.
Is this correct?

I would assume that the insurance would cover the amount of your last deposit or your balance at the time they closed. Which ever is less. And being able to prove it!
The real question is does getting shut down count as being stiffed? The facts are going to take a while to come out on this one.

Can someone please tell Edgar that his email isn't working right. Fine to have a security deal for spam, but I have sent back that frustrating reply 5 times now and it keeps sending me another one. How do I know if anyone got my information or not? Very frustrating situation to begin with and this isn't helping. Thanks.

But as it is, the only money anyone is going to see is whatever some of these watchdogs decide to pay in guarantees.

Nice post overall, but no such thing as a "watchdog site". Gambling portals ad generating revenue business' and the posters are the true watchdogs IMO. All we can do as members of this community is warn other posters about the crooked ways of BOS/Millenium type crime family of books.

Is the RX still helping us get our money back? I sent them an email and I haven't got any replies.

I would imagine to handle this fairly, and rationally you would do this:

Many sites hung BOS banners. It would hardly be fair for theRX to cover the costs for all the sites who are probably trying to renig on guarantees, and not worrying about the player whatsoever. In other words, why would theRX bail out the player that is loyal to another site, but jumps over here in the hopes of recouping money from this incident. If theRX does decide to do so, that is admirable and their right, but if it were me, I would probably do the following:

I notice that the banners at the top have tracking numbers. It seems fair to take care of loyal RX posters first (those who signed up for BOS through theRX).

If all goes well taking care of your loyal poster-base, and you wanted to try to recoup funds from posters who supported other portals, that is indeed admirable, but hardly your responsibility.

It aint gonna happen ladies and gentlemen.

Based on the traffic reports for theRX, there are probably about 12,000 registered users. Of those maybe 3000 are active. Of those, probably 1000-1500 had accounts at BOS. If they averaged $2000 (Probably low since I've seen some balances of $30000) that's $2-3Million.

Unfortunately, this business is not profitable enough to cover that type of money. It simply is not worth the positive advertisment.

Covers.com said they made nearly $1million about 2 years ago. No way a similar site is covering $2+million in this case. It is simple dollars and sense.

Maybe you are the only one laughing on this matter.

I had no money there and I still dont think its funny and I imagine many of the people who signed up under your company's guarantee, yet have been stiffed for 2 months and have received no guarantee dollars are not laughing either.

I don't think that RXers had $2-$3m in there, at least not people who signed up prior to Carruthers arrest..

Shall we all start adding up how much the RX has cost us.

Of course I read opinions, and took my own risk, but the only reason I first heard about BOS was from here, and the gaurantee and all the endorsements helped make me sign up in May.

Anyway I had $58,000 there. Anyone want to add to this, and make a running cumulative total.

the only thing this thread did was delay people from bitching everyday! No different than Bos putting people on a "list" to recoupe their money!
delay tactics!

You think that HALF of the Rx's active posters had a funded account with BOS? And you think that the average balance would be $2k??

Highly unlikely that either of those numbers are even close.

Wow! The guys who have not paid off their guarantee on BOS and who have now openly endorsed SBG are taking shots at me for having a freeplay at Millenium....

Bonus seekers are at least several levels above stiffs...
