Mexico's entire goal for the tournament has been to make it to the Quarter Final round. The entire country of Mexico just wants to get to that game. It's been talked about forever. In order to get to that round, they will have to avoid playing Argentina in the 2nd round, and in order to do that, they will need to beat Uruguay. Not only is Mexico a better team than Uruguay, but they have better players at almost every position.

I just don't see it. Mexico's doesn't want to just advance to the 2nd round. This has been talked about since 2002 for Mexico. Their goal since that time has been to get to the quarter final round, and the country, players and coach know it's gonna be a lot easier getting their beating Nigeria, South Korea or Greece instead of facing Argentina.
