.

Although it could be about the numbers of players on a game it's also about the amounts bet. For example , if you had 100 players bet ND -7 at 10.00 $ each and then 2 players bet 1000.00 on FSU+7 , so you would need a ND win to profit. You'd be losing 1000 to the ND players but gaining 2000 from the FSU players , thus profit of 1000.00 $ over all. So you would have ND as a need . I think my math and example is right ? If I'm wrong I'm sure I'll hear about it......lol

The better info to have is how many tickets for each side and the money for each. For instance, Say you had 100 players on ND @ 1500.00, and 20 on FSU @ 10,000 that is telling me FSU is a sharp or smart money move. So know how many on each side is more prevalent.

Maybe BR could share some of that info. Not asking financials, just a good directions of where the true money is at. Thanks BR for all your contributions here.

Don’t want to speak for BR but he said it was very light action on noles - my info had same with more over- but no where Near ga / Clem n the over money on that one !-most of the money in Vegas is within the last Hour like 65% or more -so the true handle on where the money is cannot always be found online. BR does us all a great service so let things be.he has answered these questions many times.

It depends on what you as an individual put more weight on , number of players/tickets or the actual amount of money on either side. My thoughts about BR is that he's posting money needs as in what would make him a profit , not # of tickets.

Bottom line is Money not amt of tickets - many times 7out 10 tickets on team A but Bulk money on team B n that’s what counts

Indeed! BR's needs have always been tied into where he can make a profit.

That is understandable, but if all the Joey "Bag Of Donuts" (Joe Public) are all on one side I would rather not be with that bunch. Now do the heavy hitters win them all, of course not.
But I want my money where the sharps are.

I post based on $$$$ not # of plays. for example last night $137,000 on FSU….$91,000 on ND. Yet 53% of tickets on ND

True that being said , but can you always rely on the view that those betting large sums on games are always "sharp"? You don't hear about those betting large sums of money who are now no longer in the game or maybe they just have that much money from other sources to weather the ups and downs and have money to "throw around", so to speak. Some folks expendable income is far greater than the average Joe's throw around money.
