This shocks me. Seems like everyone and their brother is on Colombia. This forum has been putting out large Colombia plays like the game was already played. And everyone seems to think that no Suarez = no chance for Uruguay.
Hope I can convince myself that it's not that lopsided because Colombia is really tempting and that's the only thing holding me back. BOL.
Felt the same way. I played Uruguay once i saw columbia was about to go to + money. Because it does not make sense. Why would the columbia line go to + money after Suarez is out? Cavani assisted both of Luis's goals and without Suarez, Uruguay lost to Costia Rica. People still remember that game, right?
Because Uruguay who is a defensive minded team may now play all but 1 guy in a defensive role. My guess is their strategy now will be to string the game out and play for the tie. If that is the case, then any columbia to win proposition is a lower. Hence the + money on Columbia to win. I was leaning uruguay all week because i think they will have to be focused. The fact is thoigh that columbia has fresher legs and a younger squad than the aging uruguay side.
I know some people play the "star is out so team is underrated" side with uruguay, but remember columbia's best player falcao is also out and some may feel uruguay had the tougher path to get here plus they have had more succes internationally recently and overall in world cups. Lots of reasons to like uruguay. I overthoight this one but in the end i agree with bookie and take columbia. Calling for 2-1.

Knockout round in soccer already has 7 different ways you can bet the outcome of a side of a game while the NFL only has 2, a team either covers or doesn't. You can't bet the push.
In soccer, its a draw, bet on Brazil to win in regulation, Brazil -1 goal, Brazil to win by advancing & so goes for Chile.......thats 7 different options, that's insane! If NFL was like that, every book would be retired in 10 years.
So with all those possible wagers, IMO, its too hard to guage on what the public is on.......
