That is bullshit - BODOG is as strong as any book out there. This kind of very irresponsible posting is what causes runs on books. No one is in danger of not getting paid at BODOG.

I had it was rumor in my title. Considering Fezzik is a regular here, I thought it was an interesting thread on the site and wanted everyone to know. From a Mods thread at LVA,
Bagiant's feedback is good. I like to hear that, and I'm glad you've had good experiences there.
There is no way for a single person, or even a handful of people, to prove an online casino is cheating. You'd have to have many people with recorded hands and compile that data. You'd have to have millions of hands of data recorded and analyzed to have any type of statistical relevance. In reality, you'd also need to have millions of hands at a certain $ amount as well. Maybe if you bet $2 a hand it's fair, but if you bet $200 a hand it's not fair. In other words, proving cheating is next-to-impossible.
I don't know that Bodog has any solvency issues, and my guess is that if you have a balance there it is probably safe. From what I've heard their business model does not set aside an account that can cover player deposits in the event that everyone withdrew. In my opinion, their model is not as safe as one where the accounts are set aside.
A lot of places went bust in the dot-com bubble era, and much of the time, the reason was advertising spending. It's easy to burn through a lot of dough buying ads.
I didn't know until now that Shackelford did consulting for RTG software. In the past, there have been some RTG casinos that had very bad reputations. If I'm not mistaken it was the group that included TwinAces and GoldenComps or something like that.
Really, this is more of an ear-to-ground type warning. I don't feel confident in Bodog right now, and I won't gamble there myself.
We won't accept any affiliate or advertising payments from them, since we don't want to do business with anyone where there is suspicion.
This can change. Ifwe are shown, by Bodog or anyone else, that its games are fair and that it's financially responsible, then we'll put 'em back in a preferred status once again.
