BML SPORTS complains they should not be on an Avoid List. What are your opinions?

leave them on.. for the newbies that visit the site. as for anyone else..it wouldnt matter if you took them off.. their REP is still DIRT and I'd never send them a cent

BML needs to be on the "you will never see your money again" list.

BML has treated bettors like crap for the last 3 years. BML always has excuses for slow, slow paying people.

When my credit card and personal informaiton was taken from BML and posted on that russion site, I never heard a word from BML.

If BML really wants to be a respected book, they need to watch how the other industry leaders treat bettors:
-Instant payments (1 hour payments - not 1 month payments)
-No draconian terms on bonuses
-No customer complaints

Well known as a stiff joint. As Shrink said, the ONLY reason the player got paid was due to the uproar here (and maybe the telephone jamming campaign which they were subjected to).

We should have a rule and procedure for NP books to get off the list. The rule shoudl punish NP books past bad behavior, but the punishment should not be too harsh to discourage them the become a good citizen of books.
My suggestion:
1. BML should pay off all stiffed players to qualify for SP-.
2. Give the slow payed players bonuses which equal 2 times their last deposit to get into a SPtoGP rating. After 1 year of same day payout record, it can get into GP rating.
3. If the book choose not to give slow payed players bonuses described in item 2, then it takes 5 years of same day payout record to get into GP- rating.

BML is herby banished to the bad book list for a period not to exceed 10 years and not to be less than 3 football seasons for commiting the following crimes against the betting public:

1. Allowing their computer system to be compromised and their database stolen.

2. Allowing their players confidential information, including credit card numbers to be posted on an Internet website.

3. Allowing Management to send a message via email to their customers after this fiasco informing the customers not to worry.

4. Implementing a policy of allowing customers no more than $1000 of their money per week.

5. Displaying images and banners from watchdog organisations on their website without permission.

6. Inacting a poor system of customer service by having untrained personal answer the phone and telling upset customers to call back tomorrow and talk to a manager. Only to have irate customers call back tomorrow and told that the manager is too busy.

7. Blaming slow pay situations on the bank, money transfer company or some kind of National holiday.

8. Withholding winnings from customers because the customer is considered a "risky player" by managment.

9. Having BALLS to ask to be taken off bad book lists because they are a good book.

This sentence is herby handed down by me this 10th day of June in the year of our Lord Two Thousand and Three.

Tell them no complaints for a year and
then they can be considered. And the $1000
withdraw max per week definitely has to go.

Can't believe they're even being discussed right now.

Aspen....one year is way too short.

This book has been stiffing people longer than that, and always has been known as a stiff book.

Anyone who researches in the forums knows to stay the hell away from them.

Odds are that they can stiff everyone for a year, and not end up stiffing a forum poster.

BML stiffed me last year, only $210! Unbelievable, countless phone calls and aggrivation just to get $210 and they still would not give it to me so I gave up...bunch of crooks..

While I got paid (eventually), it took three months and many threats and posts on the RX. Moreover, as I told Jay when he finally paid me, their customer service is troubling.
