Exactly.

I'm naturally skeptical anyway, but I don't buy this story.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I did not know there was such thing as a conditional credit. I did contact my bank and they can do this after 20 days. I just saved 25 days. As some of you are saying, this is probably a good place to gamble as these guys were very nice. I aked Doug at Bluegrass what size bettor this was considered. He said very small. Why would I scam a place over $835 dollars. The only thing I asked was why my identity was never verified. It could have saved me a lot of time and help save Bluegrass the problem of chargebacks which they admitted they have had a problem with. I obviously have cancelled the card. I am responsible for my expense account. Hopefully, my accounting manager will understand if it comes to waiting the 20 days. The only thing I asked Bluegrass for is some help expediting it. They agreed the chargeback will go through with no problems and the money will be returned. Why can't they help expedite it as they did not verify the identity even though they clearly state they will on their website.

What CC company do you use? Most will do a conditional credit instant if you are a good customer

The investigation normally is 60 days. This 20 days can't be right. This is a SCAM. This scammer is saying he did not know he could dispute a fraudulant charge? He says he did not know he is not libel for unauthorized purchases? But he knows all about putting pressure on BlueGrass by posting at the RX.

Ok, let's pretend that this is a scam. You take a free shot at the book and hit 3 straight all or nothings ...

1st win : 835 becomes 1670
2nd win : 1670 becomes 3340
3rd win : 3340 becomes 6680
$5855

You more of less could have had a 1/8 shot at almost 6K. If people steal $20 t-shirts from the Gap, why wouldn't try they try $800+?

Every person with a credit card on this planet knows you aren't responsible for fraudulent purchases on that card. Why the pressure on BG for $835? As OJ's good buddy Dr. Lee would say, "Something not right here."

Chuck,
I have heard many different figures in days being passed around but this is the first I've heard of 60. My bank told me the merchant has 45 days to dispute a chargeback. They stated this morning they will give a customer a "conditional" credit after 20 days. Why 20 days, I have no idea. I've offered to send whatever Bluegrass needs to them to prove it was not me. Would a scammer do this? I don't understand what 835 into 6k means. I didn't have a $835 charge on my card. It was 10 charges totalling $835. If I'm going to scam someone, would I choose a place that says I need to fax them an ID and sign a form and hope they didn't request it. Wouldn't I deposit more than $50 or $60 that was done. I know I wouldn't be responsible for fraudulent charges but I had never heard the term "chargeback" before my bank used the term Monday evening. I wish nothing but the best to you but the reason I asked for help from The Prescription was not to bash anyone. I've stated many times, the people at Bluegrass have been very nice. I am looking for a way to expedite things prior to 8/31.

Exactly.

Why would "Mystery Scammer X" choose to use your "stolen" credit card number at BetBG, when they know they would have to send in YOUR ID before getting paid ??

I have no clue if this is a scam or not, but don't sportsbooks normally require a faxed copy of the CC, front and back? As well as a faxed copy of some form of I.D. With matching signatures?

Doug from Bluegrass seems like a good guy, and bluegrass seems like a good company, but no verification on a CC seems a bit reckless.

Lastly, Chuck Sims who normally only crawls out of his hole to bash Betonsports is on Bluegrass' side? Somewhere there is a snowball freezing in hell.

Most places require ID if you are using a credit card, but it's roughly divided 50/50 between the places that make you send the documentation when you are depositing, and the places that wait until you make a withdrawal before requiring that the documentation be sent.

My conversations with Bluegrass have ended. I need to wait the 20 days. Diego has no authority according to what I can tell. Doug at Bluegrass has been following this conversation and said the "hacks" on The Prescription don't affect his business because their reputation is good. That should make all of the people feel good to know you are hacks in their eyes. Be careful when giving Bluegrass your cc info. It might go anywhere. Anyone out there that has a stolen card, I've got the perfect place for you to use it. Just don't request a bonus.

To all the RX readers, obviously I didnt say whatever this "goofball" is talking about. We told him to go ahead and post on the RX about this because it would only enhance our reputation. In addition we could save the extra $25 charge x 13 = $325 if we just go ahead and refund his money. We are going to lose the money on the chargeback anyway. But we dont care about the money its the principle of the whole deal!!!!

Bluegrass, what principle? Is he a scammer or do you just not like the way he handled the situation? If the guy is on the up and up, why not just help him out? You don't make yourself look any better by making this difficult for him if he is legit. If he's not legit, well F U C K him.

You called the people hacks and you know it. You are so full of crap. Its funny how you know use the word goofball, when before you were an f-bomb droping machine. Pretty classy guy. I have not lied once in this whole thing. Diego lied about Visa's not being refundable, also stating that reversing charges take 15-22 days and that your processor, Firepay would not let you do chargebacks. Stick to a story and stop BS'ing me. I'm not out any money here. I asked you to do the courteous thing and help me expedite it. You refused and showed everyone how professional you are. You even sold the fraudulent info to another company, Millenium Sports. No where does your website say you sell your customers credit card #'s. You strung me along with lies because I had no knowledge to doubt you. Firepay blew your cover by laughing at your ridiculous lies. And now you say its the principle. Do what your website says and verify the credit card info. End of story.

Oilman,
My point exactly. Diego admits I will get the money back. Why not help me expedite it? I offered to fax him whatever he needs including a police report and an affadavit. And know they state they are paying extra because of chargebacks. Smart business. The PR they would get from handling this the right way would have been worth it for them. I'm sure their customers would feel good knowing they went the extra mile of service to help someone out that their lack of security caused problems for in the first place.

Look, we have tried to help him. It is the bank's responsibility to handle the chargeback. We cant just refund his money in case he is a scammer!! Why wont he just leave us alone, please!!! Also if he is "charging back" then why does he keep pressing us to refund the money????
